November 2008 - I was recently enlightened by some Free Methodist friends about the deteriorating human rights situation in the region of Orissa, India. Since mid-2007, reports have been coming out of the Orissa region regarding human rights atrocities aimed largely at Christian populations from surrounding fundamentalist Hindus. Many are sending money, but myself and others were wondering what could be done to advocate politically on this issue; so, I set up a full web page devoted to the topic…

Yes, the economy is in the toilet, but if you’ve read any American history, one of the themes you pick up rather quickly is that this sort of thing happens every generation or so — and will probably continue to do so.
